Thanksgiving Break!

We're back in the Calumet Region to give thanks and chill with the family. I was supposed to have my power point for Senior Seminar finished by Tuesday, but we've been having way to much fun doing the following things to meet that goal:

•Watching movies with the parents
•Eating pizza with the parents
•Going downtown
•Eating Ethiopian food downtown
•Hanging with the sister
•Eating French food with the sister
•Baking cookies with the MK
•Eating said cookies with the MK

This isn't to say that I haven't been working on the presentation…I've managed to get a few awesome articles for my last few slides. Trouble is, I already had a few too many articles to start with. Oh well, I'm sure it will all work out in the end.

Unfortunately, we have NOT had enough time to go birding. This is especially aggravating because there is a White-winged Crossbill a few miles away from the Dunehouse. It's been hanging out it an orchard, so I'm hoping there's enough sustenance there to convince it to stay there until tomorrow morning. The question is whether or not I'll be able to convince anyone to go looking for it with me…

Well, we're off to the relative's abode to meet with the Albrecht clan. Happy Thanksgiving to all!
