On the road again…

For better or for worse, my three-month period funemployment is coming to a close. I must now bid Indiana a fond farewell and begin my journey South, while discreetly thumbing my nose at winter. Florida-bound, I will travel over hill and mountains, down valleys and dells, through forest and mire, against wind, rain, snow and terrible heat, praying that I arrive safely at Archbold Biological Station on time and in one piece.

Masumi and I left Porter on Monday, and I've been hanging out with her at Earlham for the last few days. Tomorrow morning, I'll shout my final au revoir to the Midwest, and head for Georgia. We'll let you know if I make it there alive…
