HUZZAH! IT'S OVER!

Senior Seminar is, at long last, over! All things considered, it didn't go too poorly. The faculty that we spoke to seemed to have a more or less positive feedback for us. Admittedly, that could have been because they felt guilty for showing up late, but some of it could have been genuine.

As of now, I'm swamped in the 9 remaining hurtles before I leave campus, which are as follows:
1. Planning Physiological Psychology symposium (on the amygdala's role in PTSD)
2. Phys. Psych. research paper (on serotonergic activity of the amygdala in fear conditioning)
3. Ambystoma complex paper and experimental proposal
4. Biochem presentation (on catecholamine synthesis)
5. A&P presentation (results are STILL pending on this one)
6. Phys. Psych. take-home exam
7. Biochem final
8. A&P final
9. Wrapping up my Earlham campus experience (packing, good-byes, etc.)

In spite of this, we've managed to have a little fun. Friday night was the JoMo bonfire, which was the usual heated blast…

This is the fire from a few hundred feet away.
Those tiny lumps to the left of it are people.
It is a minor miracle the woods didn't burn down.

Don't worry, the phœnix rose from its ashes within minutes

Well, it's back to work…MK and I are currently at Tim Horton's (I know, studying at 2:30 AM on Sunday is undoubtedly a bad sign), and we're hoping to reach our work limit before 3:00.
